Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a global disruption in how we approach student learning. Even though remote instruction was a relatively short-term phenomenon, it has provided a powerful impetus to rethinking how we approach learning in the long-run. The opportunity facing business schools comes from a simultaneous transformation of the business world, technology innovation capabilities and the student. These trends will lead to the unbundling of the professoriate with a complex team performing educational tasks. The future promise is one of a personalized degree where students are provided targeted learning opportunities rather than a one-size-fits-all degree. Business schools are best positioned to lead this learning revolution and I look forward to engaging you in this collaborative dialogue.
